IIFL Wealth And Asset Management Appoints Navin Upadhyaya as CHRO


IIFL Wealth and Asset Management (IIFL WAM) today announced the appointment of Navin Upadhyaya as Chief Human Resources Officer. In this role, Navin will be responsible for the overall human resources strategy, with a particular focus on culture, talent management, learning and development, diversity and inclusion. Prior to joining IIFL WAM, Navin was Director and Head of Human Resources at Citibank for its Institutional Client Group (ICG) for India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

Previously, Navin also worked with IDBI, Standard Chartered and Blue Dart. Navin has nearly two decades of experience in the financial industry as a senior HR advisor in various roles spanning Markets, Private Banking, NBFC, Banking & Advisory, Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, technology, operations, analytics and business functions. His HR experience has been both at the strategic and operational level; he has held the position of Human Resources Manager for the past decade. Navin holds a Masters in Personnel Management from the University of Pune. He mentors startups for building inclusive ecosystems to support the Diversity and Inclusion agenda.
