The description
Automated infrared systems continuously monitor remote sites and assets to detect anomalies and provide thermal data under all load and environmental conditions. Infrared technology is widely used by utilities to periodically scan equipment and detect thermal anomalies. Although extremely useful, periodic analysis can miss problems that occur between inspection cycles or under certain load conditions.

Analytical tools that provide an accurate view for fleet maintenance planning are essential for today’s utility asset managers. With a comprehensive view of network asset health, network risks, end-of-life forecasts, and reliability forecasts, asset managers will be able to objectively analyze maintenance policies and asset investments . Decisions about capital or maintenance expenditures can then be directed where they most economically mitigate risk on the network.

Attendees will receive an overview and demonstration of:

  • Automated infrared inspection technology
  • Asset management planning and analysis tools
  • ROI Opportunities
